WHAT IS CONFERENCE ABOUT?

Since independence, the Indian power sector has been focusing on creating infrastructure for power generation and evacuation. But the muted demand growth and issues in fuel/ land availability have led to a shift in priority to operational excellence and thereby the need to become cost competitive. Power producers have moved from “cost plus” mind-set to “cost conscious” mind-set and this trend is clearly visible among the IPPs.

The main objective of the conference is to offer an industry platform to debate and share cost reduction strategies in operations and maintenance for coal based power plant. In addition to this, the Conference would discuss best O&M practices in BTG and BOP for superior power plant performance and regulatory compliance.

With this background, we are pleased to invite you to our two day event “Coal Power O&M Conference” to be held on 24th & 25th September 2014 at Mumbai. This annual conference is designed for O&M professionals in IPPs/CPPs, Renovation and Modernization professionals across the country to help them stay updated with the latest developments in the industry and acts as an excellent knowledge sharing platform for the industry.
