- THE CONFERENCE -
Hydrogen Technology Expo will host India's must-attend techno-economic hydrogen conference focusing on the development of low-carbon hydrogen production, storage, and infrastructure development. Focussed technology tracks will take during two conference days for attendees and speakers having the option to move freely between the different sessions.
Bringing together hydrogen producers, energy majors, the oil and gas industry, pipeline operators, offshore wind and energy companies, utilities giants, port authorities, airports, renewable energy investors, engineering firms, heavy industry, steel producers, chemical and process industries, and technology suppliers, this conference will discuss and debate challenges, opportunities, and most importantly – solutions, to the emerging green hydrogen economy in North America. Topics will include, but not be limited to:
Primary energy sources for green hydrogen production – solar, wind, biomass, nuclear
Energy conversion – electrolysis, biochemical, thermochemical, reforming
Design, simulation, test, monitoring, and control solutions for hydrogen plants
Driving down the cost of low carbon hydrogen
Business models for low carbon hydrogen
Building and integrating a global network for green hydrogen distribution
Refuelling solutions
The role of green hydrogen in decarbonising heavy industry
Incorporating clean hydrogen into the renewable energy mix
Hydrogen storage – liquefication, compression, material-based, hydride storage, sorbents
Regulation and investment requirements to enable rapid scale-up and adoption
Our second day conference track will bring together fuel cell manufacturers, materials suppliers, technical and engineering consultants, systems integrators, research institutes, NGO’s, as well as a wide range of end user markets to discuss the techno-economic challenges that must be overcome for wide scale commercialisation and adoption of hydrogen fuel cells. The two-day conference will prioritise presentations that showcase innovative solutions to drive down cost, increase efficiency, improve durability and reliability, and for scale-up for mass manufacturing. Topics will include, but not be limited to:
Fuel cell market forecasts and regulation
Fuel cell materials – SOFC, coatings, catalysts, composites
PEM and fuel cell stacks – latest developments and improvements
Test and development – simulation, durability, range and performance, safety, certification

Dual-fuel flexibility conversion
Impact and potential of CCS on achieving global climate mitigation targets
Commercialisation – cost reduction, investment, and building the business model for CCS
Blue Hydrogen and Carbon Capture
Regulations and policies concerning Hydrogen Technology and/or Carbon Capture economies
- PRESENTATION FORMATS -
Talks that reveal new ways of thinking about and applying technologies to the Hydrogen Technology debate
Talks that feature content never seen before and not available online, but has been created specifically for this event
Real-world examples that show a novel application of technology or illustrate a solution to a technical challenge in an end product, including a detailed discussion of the trade-offs and choices made
Talks that engage the audience in a highly creative or interactive way
Legislative talks discussing current and possible future laws governing the material use and production processes.
In general, we look for speakers who are willing to share their knowledge to help design and innovation continue and grow. Proposals that aim to market a specific company or product will not be considered.
Proposals must be submitted by Thursday, 26 January 2023 through emailing Ashwinkumar Khatri directly. If selected to speak, all presenters will be required to submit a presentation in PowerPoint format at least 2 weeks in advance of the conference to ensure guidelines are met.
